Exercise 1: Magazine Page Modification and Interpretation.

The original image is an advertisement by Gucci. It is a close crop of what seems to be a couple hugging. The camera is positioned over the male talents shoulder.  The image is very still which I believe is fitting for a watch advertisement.  The model is staring directly into the camera and the lighting is very soft.  The styling is very fancy and the pearl bracelet adds a layer to the image. There is also a black line that goes around the whole image framing it on the page.

The modified image reminds me of something you'd see in the subway station in New York City. The eyes and mouth have been flipped.  The black and white image of the model on the left was from the backside of the image that I pulled from a magazine.  The model now has a G tattooed on her forehead. The other letters from "Gucci" have been rearranged to say "I C U". The top of the image has been cut and flipped to look like there could of been multiple images on 1 page.  I don't think anyone would want to purchase a watch after viewing this new image.
